Although I have heard many romances begin online, I never dreamed I'd meet a new friend there.  Thank you, Penei, for making our wedding so uniquely personal - for flowers to honor my most beloved family and spiritual home; for help well beyond any business arrangement; for the pleasure of your company; for the addition of Heather - personally and professionally;  for helping to make what we could all have termed an unfortunate downpour into something special.

You have the good fortune to be a significant part of the special moments in our lives.  For us it was a marriage.

While it was the tenor of your beautifully composed website that attracted me, in no way could I have anticipated what that first "send" would bring.

You have touched us and become part of our extended family - and I meant it about visiting.  Our small corner of the world is something we'd enjoy sharing with you and Dard.

Until then, when we meet again (and we will return here!)

Wedding at King's Knoll - Aug. 17, 2003

Rev. Dard, 

Clay McMordie saying Aloha from Houston,Texas.  While it has been almost three months since we celebrated our renewal of vows with you, it still is fresh on our minds. The renewal was the highlight of what was the best trip we have ever had in Hawaii.  I want to thank you so much for presiding for us, you were everything I thought you would be and more.   The only thing that would have made it better would have been if we had Penei their to sing.  The pictures came out great and would be happy to send you some electronically if you have a desire to see any. You and Penei were heading to the states for double family reunions and I hope that you both had wonderful times.  I just finished booking a trip back to Maui for spring break in March with my two best friends and their families, which got me thinking about our last trip and what a special part of it that you were for us.  I just wanted to say Mahalo once again and may God Bless you and Penei and all of your loved ones.

If you have a chance to watch the video from Lynn , you will be very impressed to see how the two of you work so well together.   You are both so passionate about what you do and you have an incredible voice.  Many blessings were bestowed on the two of you.

After we met the other two ministers at the flower shop, we were a bit nervous.  James said when he first saw the two of you together, he knew the chemistry was there and everything would be perfect.  It is funny how god knows what is best.  Whenever I am in question, I just leave it to him and he always leads us to what is right for us.

Look forward to meeting up with you when we get back to the island.  Very soon I might add as I am opening an office there.

Dear Penei and Dard:  Randy and I feel we were truly blessed the day we met you.  I could never have imagined something so wonderful and special as September 12, 2003 with both of you there to perform and celebrate our marriage.  There are no words to describe when we watch the video of the ceremony how amazing it makes us feel.
