I wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful ceremony!  Perfect doesn't even begin to describe it.  Having you both there to perform our ceremony is what made it so unique and precious to us.  We will always cherish the memories of that day including the beautiful photographs and the awesome video that so captured the feelings of the day.  You really had a way of making a very anxious and nervous bride feel well at ease through the whole process.  The love you and Dard share is so sweet and the fact that you truly enjoy what you do was so apparent, both in person and on video.  Thank you so much for making our day so blissfully easy and you definitely have a great team (Heather, Lynn and your florist who did a great job with just a photo).  Please pass the message to Heather of how happy we are with our photos (I've already dropped a note to Lynn).  Please tell anyone who doubts whether or not this is how to get married it to contact me for a personal reference.  I can't imagine it any other way.  It sure was nice leaving it all to someone else and then having it all turn out so wonderfully.  Thank you for making our day absolutely amazing!

JD and I are back home now and so excited to start our lives together. We

ceremony for us so quickly. The big island is a magical place and our
wedding was exactly what we had always pictured. You two have such a great
chemistry together, Dard's words really spoke to us and your singing was
beautiful.

Dard,

Jan and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you so very much for conducting our wedding. Your thoughts were beautiful. It was as if the ceremony were written specifically for us. Your reference to the wind representing those who couldn't be there with us, touched Jan and I more than you know. You have such a gentle spirit about you that made our time that morning so personal.

We received the video Charles put together this week and the pictures Heather took last week. They are all wonderful. Charles did an especially nice job with the video. We can hardly wait to share the whole ceremony with the rest of our families. He captured every bit of the ceremony even with the wind. We couldn't be more pleased.

Again, thank you for making our day even more special. Jan is sending you a link to all the pictures we took. If there are any you would like electronically, just let me know.

There are no words that can truly describe what our wedding was to us. It can best be summed up by what people have said when we tell them about it, as they look at our pictures, "Magic."  And it was.
 
Michael and I are among the all too rare who have found a true partner in life. In our six years together we have always known how blessed we are to have each other and share a life filled with so much love and happiness. We couldn't have imagined that our life together could be any better - but with our marriage, somehow it is.
 
Penei, your amazing energy and the words you chose for our service, gave a voice to what is in our hearts for one another. Charlie, somehow you captured the magic of it all on film in a way that leaves everyone breathless. And the sacred Place of Refuge - a place of new beginnings. The perfect place to begin our journey as husband and wife.
 
It was all so much more than we could ever have hoped for or imagined. It was a time when what we feel for one another was not just between the two of us, but all around us and truly palpable in the very air.
It was the perfect expression of the depth and breadth of our bond.
 
So all we can say is - MAHALO!
 
We will be back and we hope to see you then.

If you look at the photos Dard and Penei took at our wedding, you can see how clearly happy my husband and I were on our wedding day.  It wasn't just that my husband and I were so happy to be getting married in Hawaii, but because everything went so smoothly and beautifully.  From the very start, Penei was very professional about getting back to me about questions I had about booking my wedding with Beach Weddings Hawaii, choosing a location, choosing a florist, choosing a videographer, choosing a photographer, and choosing the ceremony.  She coordinated with my photographer and videographer so that everyone was at the location on time and ready to go.
 
I chose the ceremony which included Dard performing the service and with Penei providing the music.  I have to say that Penei did an excellent job of singing and explaining the Hawaiian chants.  Their tag team service was so much more beautiful and detailed than I had expected and makes watching my wedding video so enjoyable.
 
As you can see from the photos, our location was beautiful and quite empty at sunset.  Dard and Penei were obviously very happy for us and after the ceremony, Penei continued to sing and play songs on her guitar while our pictures were taken.  It was such a thoughtful touch.  Also, they took their own photos of the wedding which I truly appreciate because they turned out so well.
 
We had no guests at our wedding so having the enthusiastic and warm support of Dard and Penei was very special to me.
 
If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Dard and Penei,

I stopped by your web site today and you really captured some great photos of our
wedding!  I'm attaching a couple of the two of you. 

Now that the dust has settled and we're back in the 'groove' I can
look back with clarity and say that that was the most beautiful event 
of which I have ever taken part. 

I've also told at least a few potential wedding couples about you and
they may in fact contact you to perform their wedding in Hawaii.  I hope that they
do.

We wish all the happiness and abundant blessings that you'd
like to bring into your life.

Dear Dard,
 
You officiated our wedding on October 4, 2003 at the Fairmont Orchid.  I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to send a photograph- we had a difficult time picking out our wedding pictures!  Looking at this one reminds me what a special, happy day it was.
 

I wasn’t wild about having our wedding on DVD, but Brian wanted to tape it for his grandparents who couldn’t make it to Hawaii.  We saw it for the first time with them, and I was touched all over again by the beauty of your words.  I noted them at the time, but hearing them again allowed me to reflect more deeply on what you said.  You have a wonderful way of incorporating nature into the ceremony, and you gave us the day we dreamed of when we first thought of getting married in Hawaii.  I treasure my wedding band so much because of the beautiful blessing you performed with the ocean water.  There is really no way to thank you enough for giving is such a perfect, meaningful day.
